迁就 (qiān jiù) — to accommodate, to yield to, to make concessions for

Définition

迁就 means to yield or make concessions to a person, often by lowering your own standards — often carries a negative sense of spoiling or giving in too much. Unlike 将就 ('make do with' a subpar option), 迁就 takes a person as its object.
