不景气 (bù jǐng qì) — sluggish, depressed, in a slump (said of economy, market, business)

Definition

Used mainly for the economy, a market, or a business being in a slump. Similar to 低迷, but 不景气 is the more common, everyday term; 萧条 is heavier and often describes a prolonged downturn.
