Expressing a learned skill with 会
会 is placed before a verb to express that someone knows how to do something, like speaking a language or cooking. It can be used for any learned skill. The negative form is 不会.
Estrutura
Subj. + 会 + Verb (+ Obj.)
Negate with 不会 before the verb.
Exemplos
- 他会说中文。Tā huì shuō zhōng wén.He can speak Chinese.
- 我会写汉字。Wǒ huì xiě hàn zì.I can write Chinese characters.
- 你会做饭吗?Nǐ huì zuò fàn ma?Can you cook food?
- 狗会唱歌吗?Gǒu huì chàng gē ma?Can dogs sing?
- 爸爸会开车。Bà ba huì kāi chē.Dad can drive.
