Definition
滑动 (huádòng) emphasizes smooth, continuous movement along a surface (sliding a finger on a screen, a sliding door). Use 滑 (huá) alone for the simpler sense of slipping or gliding; 滚动 (gǔndòng) is for rolling or scrolling.
